RAPTOR partners UPV and AIMPLAS participate in DESEi+d 2025

From 11–13 November 2025, the RAPTOR project was represented at the 12th National R&D Conference on Defence and Security (DESEi+d 2025), held in Zamora, Spain. Organised by the Spanish Ministry of Defence, DESEi+d is a key national forum bringing together researchers, industry, academia, and public institutions to discuss current challenges and technological advancements shaping the future of defence and security.
RAPTOR was represented by two partners: the Antennas and Propagation Laboratory (APL) of the iTEAM Research Institute at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and AIMPLAS – Plastics Technology Centre. Their participation offered an excellent opportunity to connect with leading experts, explore the latest developments in advanced materials, antenna systems, and emerging defence technologies, and exchange insights relevant to RAPTOR’s innovation objectives.
During the event, UPV and AIMPLAS had the opportunity to engage with stakeholders to discuss the project’s work on printed electronics, antenna integration, and advanced sensing technologies, which form essential components of RAPTOR’s condition-based monitoring system. Their presence also helped raise awareness of RAPTOR within the Spanish defence R&D ecosystem and supported the project’s mission to promote collaboration and knowledge transfer across national and European innovation communities.
DESEi+d 2025 once again confirmed its role as a hub for defence science and technology, providing a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and fostering new opportunities for cooperation. RAPTOR’s representation at the event helped to strengthen ties with key actors and supports ongoing efforts to advance predictive maintenance, weapon system reliability, and next-generation sensing architectures.
